This has become a 'floating' prop, sometimes hanging out with other pieces to add atmosphere. The book itself is known as 'the scarab occult' (a nod to the wh40k terminator group of the thousand sons) and has several different editions, versions, and forms. It was originally attributed to the famous sorcerer Asa ben Zavi and scholars surmise that subsequent editions are actually the accumulating mutterings of his restless spirit, from the reliquary.

Some shots of the grand plank
As you can imagine, we do a lot of crafty stuff around the able workshop
and it's surrounding environs. Mixology is one of them. Here's the bar
at the able workshop, the much loved and well juried 'Grand plank.' At any given time we have all manner of concoctions and remedies, some even from the famous Valor and Daughter.

The reliquary of Asa Ben-Zavi
This is the reliquary of Asa Ben-Zavi,
anti-saint of the order of Evisser. A legendary psychic and spirit
medium, Asa Ben-Zavi was killed in the raid of "alamut reborn" by Jonas
Able. Legend says that Mr. Able, almost over matched by the occult
power of Asa Ben-Zavi, summoned the unspeakable influence of his
legendary nemesis blade (now in the possession of Miss Sharon Arnold )
and with a curse, sent the dagger to undo his
enemy. The order later retrieved the head of their fallen master, and
fashioned this box around it, along with a page from his (now lost)
grimoire. It is said that if the proper rituals are observed, the reliquary will whisper occult teachings, and the cult members reverently pay homage to it regularly.
